A LIVING AMAZON
This project was in the visualising information module we had completed. The premise of this project was to gather relevant data to present a specific problem of a topic that I and my group chose to base our work on. We had to produce an informative, relevant poster that was visually appealing to the age range we chose to base the target audience on which was 18+. The brief encompassed making an information poster, an animation and a presentation to present our whole process, which included the concept, development and final design stages. The process fo making the information poster was a very detailed decision-making process, as we all wanted to make sure the images, layouts, type choices etc were perfect and fit what we were going for which was to showcase the sheer destruction of the Amazon Rainforest over time. The animation video was made on Adobe After Effects, and we knew that this was going to be a vital step in this project. I think it turned out quite well, with the types of images used, the different types of transitions and the overall structure of the information showcased.
I and my team come together to work on a poster and animation that accurately shows how much destruction and damage the Amazon rainforest has gone through and is currently going through. We also came up with a meaningful and memorable slogan:
"KEEP THE AMAZON ALIVE"
