NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
This module allowed me to design a set of pictograms for two set colour themes, the different pictograms stemmed from the different areas of the museum and different attractions. For each of the pictogram designs, I wanted to produce similar themes for them. This was one of my very first projects in University and do feel like it started me up in the right way to get a feel of what type of level of graphic design I was going to be progressing on with. The project allowed us to have creative freedom with the way we could design these pictograms with any type of theme we wanted. However, we had to include certain design ideas and concepts into each design to fulfil the brief requirements. The development process was one of my favourite sections of the project, as it allowed me to showcase and harness my drawing skills, which I wasn't as strong with beforehand. Overall this project was an enjoyable process that taught lessons about attention to detail, perspective and the ability to think outside to box.
