TYPEFORMS
With this project, I selected this myself and I was intrigued with the brief which was to develop and produce a new typeface. The project turned out very well as the planning process and the development of sketches for the typeface made the process more enjoyable. The project made me aware of the types of obstacles that one can face when trying to produce a successful typeface design. For example, a challenge I had to overcome was when it came to having to make different strokes and kerning of each letter, I then had to come up with different ways of designing each letter to make it look as visually appealing as possible.
